33 Weeks and 4 Days Pregnant!
Wow… How time flies!
Can’t quite belive it’s been so long since I’ve blogged. This is mainly down to the fact that I have now been off work for almost 8 weeks. 6 Weeks signed off sick by my GP and I’m now on annual leave for last week, this week and the week after then my maternity leave commences. Feeling a lot happier than I was and much more like myself but still absolutely knackered. Not sleeping still and last night I had been up 4 times and this was all by 12.44am! My problem now is aches and pains pretty much from my waist down and my back and hips are in agony after 30 mins or so in bed. Nothing seems to cure this either… I’ve tried everything!
1 advantage from my sleep deprivation is that I can now survive on much less sleep than before and this has made the thoughts of sleepless night from baby much less daunting than it possibly could have been. I’m usually up every couple of hours anyway for at least 30 mins a time and wide awake from 4.30 – 5.00am!!
I have what I think is quite an impressive bump now… not huge but adequate is the word I think. I only have one stretch mark on my belly and this is straight across 1 of my scars from previous surgery so can’t cpmplain on that part… thats not to say I don’t have stretch marks elsewhere though… Bio Oil does not work – FACT! Although maybe it has helped prevent the ones on my belly!!! Who knows ay??
We are noe fully ready for our little arrival, everythig prepared, washed and waiting. The only thing we are waiting for is our pram to be delivered which should be in the next couple of weeks I think. I had a midwife appointment yesterday and had my Anti D injection and this hopefully couldd be my last one all depending on babys blood group when he’s born!
My time off work hasn’t been full of huge excitement I have to say… lots of resting, tidying & cleaning (nesting maybe??) and the occasional shopping trip of course!!! Gotta say though I really start to enjoy this time of year cos it’s my birthday in a couple of weeks whcih of course is always excciting…. Birthdays Rock!!! Although I will be 25 so think I might have had nearly enough, I don’t want to get much older. Then after my birthday christmas seems to be here before i know it and I LOVE Cristmas… Especially my tree… As some of you may know my tree is possibly one of my fave things ever and I take huge pride in my tree…. it’s 7 foot of beauty with the most gorgeous baubles ever (the cost is a small fortune but worth every single penny) then of course between my Birthday and Christmas me an Matt have our baby to look forward to… what an exciting time we have store!
Think that may do for now… I could go on but don’t wanna bore you all!!!!
