Good Bye Charlotte!
I am very sorry fro my lack of blogging just lately… I really am struggling for things to blog. I know I generally blog shit but it would be worse than ever if I would have blogged everyday this week,
So my week has gone like this….
Monday – I blogged in the day but Monday night we went to Asda to collect my contact lenses and called to see Matt’s sister
Tuesday – Matt had football so I went to the Talbot and met Jay and we had a lovely time. We had our tea there which was nice but I was rather miffed to see that Ye Olde Talbot have upped their prices… HUGELY!!! Jay had sausage and Mash which used to be about £4 and it’s now about £7!!!! Ridiculous! They have put it back to 2 for 1 but it never used to be that expensive when they had 2 for 1 before!
Wednesday – Had a really tiring day, was lacking motivation big time and couldn’t concentrate for very long at work then when I got home it was much the same. I cooked a yummy Sunday Dinner for me and Matt then he ran me a lush bath and I chilled all night. Watched Child in a Million on 5 which really upset me then watched Grand Designs which I love. Went to bed knackered and slept okay I think but feel equally as tired today.
Thursday – and here we are… Again I’m feeling knackered today and will have a pretty chilled night. Matt is off to football with Jamie so I’ll go round and half an hour with Kel which is always nice and we’ll chill and watch a bit of TV. S’all good!
I’ve had some exciting news today too which gives me something to look forward to next week. I’m predicting a good week next week if everything goes according to plan. Hoping to get reassurance if nothing else.
Me and Kristy are going to see Sugababes on Saturday and I cannot wait! I went to see them in March last year and they were awesome. One of my fave concerts ever. When we go on Sat we are only 6 rows from the front so it will be mega. We having a lil trip to TGI’s before the concert too so that’s always good… mmm mmm!!!
Had an email from Miss Selfridge today to say my order has been shipped so that’s exciting!!!
We have decided we are gonna sell the Starlet…. I KNOW… BIG NEWS!!! I will be soooo sad to see her go cos I LOVE my little car and I have had her for over a year and am very attached and I really do think she is the coolest car in the world and god, it’s awesome for posing in!!! It gets so many looks. Luckily enough with it being a rare model I will not have lost any money on it as they hold their price very well. We have decided we would like a VW Golf GT so that will be pretty cool!!

Life!
Its Monday again – Oh Joy! Had a pretty good weekend, spent most of it chilling after a hectic week at work and been sleeping lots this weekend so was feeling rather refreshed until I had a terrible nights sleep last night… I was soooo hot in bed!!
I’m at a stage in my life where it’s time to be putting things into perspective and I really am spending so much time thinking about my future and where my life is going and I have to say at the moment I am quite excited by it all. My life is gonna be changing so much and this excites me but at the same time scares me shitless!! This sounds a tad cryptic doesn’t it???
I have just been browsing the internet as I have decided I should relax a little this week at work seeing as though I didn’t have time to blink last week and I came across this little beauty on the Miss Selfridge website:
£12 instead of £22 and I had a code for free delivery so what a bargain!!! Can’t wait for it to come now and I hope it fits!
I watched Jackass 2 last night and it was pretty funny, Matt loved it and laughed his head off nearly the whole way through. I didn’t find it that funny!!! I’ve gotta say I think Johnny Knoxville is HOT HOT HOT!
There was one clip called fart mask or something and SteveO has this mask on and
Preston is trumping into this tube that travels down to the mask… Almost instantly SteveO starts throwing up…. YAK!!!! Then… Preston actually does a poo in the tube thing!!! EEEUUUGGGHHH!!!!!!
I cannot believe how lush the weather is today, it’s so summery and it’s even warm!! Makes me really wish I was at home in the garden or having a nice walk through Clumber Park or somewhere equally lovely!!! Roll on 4.30pm!
Not much planned for tonight, just a chill I think but tomorrow I have arranged to meet Jay and Ally at the pub which I am well looking forward to as I haven’t seen either of them for a while (even though I do email Ally most days)! I’m meeting Jay at 6.30pm and we are gonna have some tea then Ally is gonna join us at about 7.30pm! Think that’s it for today, I was sure I had something really exciting to blog but I can’t remember what it was… doh! XxX
Oh What a Week!
What a week I’m having!!!!!! It’s possibly one of the best weeks ever… in the world!!! Also probably the maddest week of the year work wise!! Got millions of medical students in this week taking their final exams so it’s busy busy!!! Had the exams running today so gonna be at work till about 7 and got them all day and its mega intense tomorrow but hopefully by 6 at the latest tomorrow it will all be over and back to a normal pace again!!! I would much rather be busy to be honest but this week out of all weeks I could have soooooo done with the chill!!! Cos of the exams I’m not gonna be able to blog again till Friday and that is also the reason this is my first blog of the week.
Gonna be short and sweet I’m afraid cos I have got lots more work to do so thats ‘how for now’ (till Friday anyway)

A Visit from the Ex
Had a visit from the Ex last night!! I got a phone call to say that he had finally sorted the life insurance out that we had against our house together and was in the process of taking my name off, so as part of this process I have to sign a form and get it witnessed by someone that’s not a family member. Sooo… he delivered the form to my house last night! Actually it was rather nice to see him and we had a lovely chat and a laugh. I obviously didn’t invite him in as that would have been odd seeing as though Matt was in but all the same we stood and had a chat. I know generally people don’t advise being friends with an ex but I really would hate it if me and Lee weren’t friends. I have known him for around 13years, Almost 7 years in a relationship with him and the rest as REALLY good friends, we went to school together and we were fully in each others social circle so he has been a huge part of my life for as long as I have known him…. And so have his family, I don’t visit his family or anything now but I do still genuinely care about them and always ask about them and like to know that all is well. We chatted about family, work, my house, his house and all sorts of stuff really, including his new girlfriend who sounds lovely and I’m so pleased he has found someone nice and decent.
Other than my little visit last night I didn’t really get up to anything last night, which is what I planned, I got in from work and I knew Matt would be home late so I snook a little lie down in on the sofa and think I may have snoozed a tad. Watched some telly and cheated and watched tonight’s Oaks and its gooooood… made me smile!!!! Also watched this programme on the ‘Road Kill Chef’ – EUGH… It was foul; basically he’d drive round looking for road kill, take it home and cook it!!!! Yuk Yuk Yuk!!!! He ate a squirrel!!!!
Its Friday at long last, this week seems to have dragged loads. It’s gonna be a mad week at work too cos we have 50 medical students come along to the trust to take their final exams so gonna have some late nights next week which I’m not looking forward to!
Not much planned for the weekend, Sooo ready for payday seeing as though we have had around £500 of unexpected bills this month so roll on Thursday! Maybe get a DVD Sat night or something!
Comic Relief Tonight so Happy Red Nose Day, guaranteed tears for me tonight I think, I watched the Comic Relief Fame Academy thing last night and Gary Barlow had gone to Ethiopia (or somewhere like that) in aid to assist children living on the streets and it showed these centres that had been created with thanks to Comic Relief and there were a group of teenage lads all around the piano with Gary and they were LOVING it… That made me so sad and I was nearly crying at that so god help me tonight!!!
Westlife Lovlies
I decided last night that I am in LOVE with Nicky Byrne from Westlife! He is just beautiful! Kristy and I had a fab night last night. I picked her up at 6pm and off we tootled to Sheffield. We dropped in TGI Fridays and had the scrummiest tea then set off again for Sheffield Arena, as we got the arena I was well chuffed cos there were loads of car parking spaces left cos I was a tad concerned that we wouldn’t get parked as we left it late getting there and weren’t remotely interested in watching the support group. Anyway, we pay the lady £5 for our parking and she instructs us to drive straight on… which I did… and car park folk kept directing me straight on to a car park a million miles away, in fact I swear we were parked in Manchester (lol)!!! So I grumpily park in this rubbish car park and we set off to our destination…. What felt like an eternity later we arrived!!! I have to tell you though, enroute to the arena we passed this old man and what looked like his granddaughter and he said something along the lines of “We’ve come to watch bugs life and its Westlife” and continued walking in what appeared a strop!!! Soooooooo funny!!! Not sure if he was serious or not but he looked to old to make that kinda joke!
The night was awesome and I am now in Love with Nicky… he is lush!!! Mmmm mmmm!! The boys did a boy band medley startin off with Backstreet Boys – Everybody, then onto NKOTB – Hanging tough, then the best of the night… Take That – Everything Changes, moving to Boyzone – Picture of you (in my mind) and finally finishing with some Bros – When Will I be famous!!! It was awesome! They even danced and were mega at that too!!!! All in all a really good night!
Matt went to Old Trafford yesterday to watch Man U vs an All Star Team he got to see the likes of Stevie G, C Ronaldo, Wes Brown, G Neville, Giggs and Rooney. Beckham was there too and they showed Victoria on the big screen cos she was there!!! How jealous was I!! He had a fab night and all the money raised was for charity so even better!
Work not been so bad today, think the nice weather has kept me cheery! Not much planned tonight, think we might finally get the blinds fitted then have a lovely chill!!!

Cricket Bat Attack
Oh what a weekend!!! I’ve been ill all weekend with what I thought was tonsillitis but I went to the docs yesterday and it’s just viral. Sunday night I went to pick my brothers girlfriend up from work and as we pulled up there were bout 10 – 15 youths (18 – 40 yr old) on the side of the road, all wearing their striped Fred Perry Chav jumpers! My brother was actually with me but wouldn’t normally come as I’d just drop her off so I usually go alone. We pulled up and these youths started walking towards my car… One with a cricket bat in his hand!! Then they started storming towards me with some others creating a barrier around my car to try and block me in… John was suss as soon as we pulled up but as soon as this started happening, he said “Drive Chelle… DRIVE” so I hammered my car (lucky it’s quick) and sped off just as the cricket bat got thrown at my car and these dicks were throwing boulders and bricks at me, my car was airborne over the speed humps!! GOD I shit myself!!!!! I swear I nearly ran 2 of them over and ya know what… so what if I would have, I had to get away!!!! Apparently they were waiting for a load of folk from Cresswell to come down and fight and they assumed it was me, I guess cos my car isn’t ur run of the mill car, it probably got stereo typed as boy racers so they picked on me!!!
I’m so glad my bro was there otherwise I wouldn’t have drove off as I’m sooo naïve that I wouldn’t have thought they were coming to trash me and my car!!! AND…. I didn’t have my phone with me!!! How sad and pathetic of these people, they were adults for god sakes! Why would grown men attack a car with a girl driving it????????? I was absolutely petrified at the thoughts of what could have happened to me. I rang the police as soon as I had driven to safety and I heard their sirens approaching… I am under the belief that they went to the scene but I still have not received such as a telephone call from them. I chased this up this morning and am expecting a visit any day soon.
Other than that I am hating work even more than usual today, finding certain members of my team harder and harder to tolerate as the days go by and to top this off I’m gonna have 2 days of next week where I have to be here till at least 7.30 at night… I wouldn’t mind so much if I would have been asked if this was okay but I haven’t, it has been assumed that I have no life like some of my colleagues and will happily spend my life here!!! I do have a home to go to and someone at home I do like to see!!!!!!
My blogs seem to be nothing but rants these days and depressive moans but I guess I get the opportunity to off load!
New Theme = New Me?
New theme…. New me!!! Well at least I hope. Kind of realised something today. I’ve been sat talking to a lady today and she really made me realise how lucky a lot of us are! She wasn’t very old, she has a husband and 2 children and literally woke up one morning feeling a bit ill, a week later she was fully paralysed from the neck down!!!! She is getting better now but since January this year has had major battle to get anything like normal! She is still extremely ill and is in full rehab but is doing remarkable!! She is walking again slowly but doing marvellous!!! All she cared about was her girls and getting well for them!! What a lady!!
I’ve had the face on for the last week cos I’ve got stress on with the house and I’m not enjoying work… but at least I can ring these idiots at Rippon and tell them how stressed they making me and at least I can get out of bed every morning and come to work!!!! I feel a bit run down but I’m not blumming paralysed am I??? Some things kinda help put other things into perspective sometimes don’t they?
Went for my run last night and I actually surprised myself at how well I did. I do run on the treadmill at the gym but it does feel different somehow doing real running. I could really feel it in my bum and felt good for it after. I also did 150 sit ups and some weights so I actually had a really good workout!!! Kinda defeated the whole object of it afterwards though and went to Frank & Bennies for tea!!!! Yum Yum!!!
Not much planned for the weekend. Girly night at Kristy’s tomorrow which I’m well looking forward to and think possibly a trip into town with my mum in the morning but other than that it’s gonna be a chilled one I think…. And to be honest I really think that’ll do me the world of good!!!!

Size Zero!
Well it’s almost 4.30pm which means home time and its Friday tomorrow!!! YAY!!! I’m sooooooo pleased, I’ve had a CRAP week and can’t wait for it to be over. I’ve had yet another row with Rippon Homes and to be honest I still don’t feel confident that things are gonna be sorted anytime soon… believe me things will get sorted though as I am at a point where I’m not gonna be nice and flexible with them any longer! I want it sorting and I want it sorting quick!
Was supposed to be going to the gym tonight with Kristy but her mum is ill so there was no one to have Abigail so instead I have decided that I am gonna go a run!! My mum lives nearish me and u can go a nice way there instead of main roads so think I’ll run the field way!!
I watched the Louse Redknapps Size Zero programme last night and it has made me wanna loose weight even more than I did before. I don’t wanna be a size 0 but I defo wanna loose some weight, a stone I’m thinking. I’m quite tall so can’t get to thin cos I tend to look ill but I’m serious and I have been really good today, no naughty sins so I’m chuffed!!! I must add that I was quite shocked at how quick she lost her weight and how dreadful she looked, not size wise cos in a way I think she carried it off, but her skin and the sparkle in her eyes had gone, I was quite shocked about the damage that the dieting was actually doing to her health, I know extreme dieting isn’t good for you but I never thought it made you that ill.

Check out my new addition to my desk…. It’s only Monkey!!! Yay!!! Doesn’t he just look fab perched on top of my monitor! Got him free with PG Tips, we didn’t actually need any tea bags but I soooooo wanted Monkey and here he is!
I’ve had the mother of bad days today!!! My annoying colleague has almost sent me over the edge today, oooo, I get angry just thinking about her! She gives me the shittest work to do, today she has sent me work up in scribbly spider like hand writing that I can barely translate and I had no idea what she wanted me to do… I did kinda tell her I was well annoyed though!!!
Also, had the EX ringing me today with yet more ludicrous requests and divulging in information I, as an ex, really don’t need or want to know! Think the crap he informed me of also added to my annoyance of today!!
General mood of today is wound up…. Apart from the above annoying me I have also been battling with Rippon over the house… AGAIN!!!!! So all in all I’m feeling pretty stressed out and I think if I was still a smoker I would have smoked lots today!!! Maybe I may have a lil suck on my pen! Grrrrrr
Step Up
Well what a lovely weekend we had… I am now officially a million times more broody than I ever was before! Lucy is just gorgeous and such a good lil baby, she hardly made a murmur whilst we were there! I got lots of cuddles and this just made me want a baby even more!! Then there is Megan who is Lucy’s older Sister, she is just one year old and is so funny!!! Matt loves her to bits and seeing him with babies also adds to the broodiness cos he is sooooo good with them and is gonna make an ace Daddy one day!

We travelled home from Ipswich Saturday night cos Matt had football Sunday morning (football ranks very high in Matt’s priorities), pretty glad we did actually cos I was so looking forward to a night in my own bed and a lie in. Matt trotted off to football Sunday anyway and they won… woo!!!!
We both had yesterday off work which was fab, we didn’t do anything very exciting, got up at our own leisure, went food shopping, got my eyes tested then went home and chilled! It was lovely, we never get a full day together cos Matt nearly always works on a Sat and always football on a Sunday so it was nice to just spend a whole day together. Jamie and Kelly came round about 7.30pm…. Matt and Jamie played Fifa for a while then we watched Step Up which was really really good. Dead easy watching and very predictable but it was still good! Hot Bod Male in it too, and with Kel being a dance teacher she thoroughly enjoyed it!
T’was back to rubbish work today, everyday I hate it more and more and even the sound of certain peoples voices is enough to make my blood boil!!! It can’t be good for you to hate work like I do… thing is I know that another 2 of my 4 colleagues hates it just as much as me!!!!
Tonight we are putting our Kitchen and Bathroom blind up so we should be looking just about finished then, I am gonna take some pics to upload but I’ll do it when it’s all finished. Got the Rippon decorators in today so hopefully they won’t have made too much of a mess when I get in.
Me and Kristy are off to the gym after work, I’m feeling well up for that, a tad tired but still up for it cos I get a new lease of life after a good session at the gym!!!
