THE Phone Call
Just to let you know…… the solicitors have just rang me and………… We can have the key, it’s all gone through very quickly so its ours!!!! YAY!!! Slight little glitch in that the site doesn’t open till 10 so can’t ctually get em till then but bonus!!!! Roll on 10 o clock!!! Best go get ready ay!!
Other news… the van!!! They have just rang to say that the long wheel base we had hired has been in a crash so its not available so we can have a smaller tranny for the same money and they letting us have it till Sunday night fr the same money!!! Even more of a bonus!!!! EXCELLENT!!!!

Got the Poles
Last night we went to Wilkos and got the curtain poles, I got all 3 for £62ish… Bargain I thought! So now I’m just about ready… and it’s moving day tomorrow! I’m so excited, I just hope it all goes to plan! I’ve arranged the buildings & contents insurance today so feel happy about that, It’s going to be £19.04 per month which I though was pretty good, that is using Nationwide and it was defo the cheapest with the best cover I could find!

Today I have been really busy at work… shock shock horror… I know!!! I’ve much preferred it actually as I would so rather be busy, my day has flown by! Although the result is a killer headache, can’t wait to go home, think I’m gonna have to squeeze a lil power nap in! Think my night tonight is gonna be more or less chilled in prep for tomorrow and Saturday, we have the van booked for Saturday which I am nor looking forward to, with Matt only being 20 he isn’t old enough to drive it so looks like I have the job as my bro is working…. JOY!!!! The van is HUGE too… will be entertaining to say the least! I watched Van Wilder – Party Liaison last night and I though it was really good, very easy watching and funny! I’m defo gonna make sure I see the ‘Oaks tonight as I haven’t seen it all week with us being so busy and Ally has just informed me I’m missin a cracking week!! Sorry it’s short and sweet today, got 1 or 2 things I need to tie up before 4.30pm… then that’s it for work till next Thursday… EXCELLENT!!
2 More Sleeps to Go!
Only 2 more sleeps till we move house… how exciting!!! We went to have a little look yesterday and they have laid all the turf so it looks well nice now and the gardens are HUGE… Was gonna take a pic but it was a tad dark so they wouldn’t have turned out to well. Also the new kitchen has come but it hasn’t been fitted, it was all boxed up in the living room. At least it’s there for fitting before Friday though. I’ve just been on internet banking and have written all our things to come out down on the statement and (as I Knew) we have plenty of pennies left to get my curtain poles…. I will provide Matt with the evidence tonight. We did make friends yesterday so it’s all gravy now!!! I’m still trying to get quotes for Aerials, the first place I rang is one that advertises at work and offers a discount for NHS staff, he quoted £180, I thought this was ludicrous so rang another one last night, he quoted £120.. Still expensive but not so bad. I informed my dad of the quotes I got so he is gonna sort it… I think it will be cheaper to just buy one from Argos or something and do it myself… the wiring is there cos the socket is on the wall so I’m sure I can use my skills and do it!!! I want it in the loft so it can’t be too difficult! I also looked into getting my landline installed….. Got the quote… wait for it…. £125!!!! Now that is ludicrous!!!!! Needless to say I shall be waiting a while to get this installed!!!
Went to Pizza Hut with Jay last night… it was so lovely to see him, we chatted the whole time and he filled me in on his trip to the States… so good to have him back though!!! Afterwards we went to the Talbot, there was me, Jay, Matt and Jade, Ally was poorly sick so couldn’t make it. We had a really good night actually, think me and Jade took our friendship to a new level (so to speak) with it just being us two we chatted all night and ended up having a right giggle and it was a really good night. I knew I liked Jade but I like her even more now!!!

Oooo it’s exciting, I have to think of something even better to send her now!

Oh What a Night…
What a shit night I had last night… Me and Matt had our biggest argument to date; we had a major fall out over… CURTAIN POLES!!!!! That’s right, god damned curtain poles, we tootled off to Wilkos last night (as planned) to go for the curtain poles. I knew which I wanted so this was going to be a simple trip. When we got there I ended up spoilt for choice as they had 2 kinds I liked equally… anyway, as I’m stood browsing Matt pipes up ‘What are you doing’, I mean it was blatantly obvious I was looking at the curtain poles… duh!!! So I replied ‘I don’t know which to get’, Matt then says ‘you can’t have any, I don’t know how much money we have’, so I replied ‘we have enough money for curtain poles babe, that is what we have come for after all’. So he tells me I can only buy one for the kitchen as this is the most important one… even though I have NOT got any curtains for here yet!!! So I tell him this little bit of info and say that I really want curtain poles, especially for the bedroom as I have got the curtains for there and that I hate to see windows without something up to them… I just really don’t like it, makes the place look unfinished! But still NO…. he said I couldn’t buy them. So now I’m sulking!!! I start walking out of the shop telling him what a wasted journey and why did he take me if I couldn’t get the poles anyway. He proceeds to tell me I’m spoilt and the first time I don’t get what I want I get mardy!!! This is in fact not true as I really really wanted these curtains that I had seen but they were gonna cost about £90 odd quid so I was sensible and thought…. Nope, can’t afford that so I’ll leave it, we have perfectly good curtains already so it aint necessary… But I think curtain poles are necessary!!!! Anyway, we drove home in silence and he stopped the car at my mums, I got out, he fooked off!!!! So, I was so angry I went out for a walk with Bessy (my bro’s dog) and took it out on the pavement, and I actually felt much much better for it!!! My brother rang Matt at about 9 to see if he wanted to come for some food which he did but we never spoke a word to each other all night!!! I assured we never made contact in bed too… lol!
So this morning, I got straight out of bed with out speaking and got showered then I went downstairs and he tried to make up to me, which I have kinda done but I’m still well annoyed… not at the curtain poles but the fact that he buggered off! So we’ll see how we go tonight!!! I’m adamant I will now not want the curtain poles for a while; think I’ll hang them on string or something merely to make a point… ha ha!!!! Hell has no fury like Michelle scorned!!!!
Moving on…. My friend Debbie at work is leaving today, she had got a new job at solicitors and I wish her all the best!!!! She bought cakes in and they were lush…mmm mmm!
Tonight I’m off to the Talbot, I’m meeting Jay at Pizza Hut at 6.15 for tea and a catch up as I haven’t actually seen him since he got back from America then we are off to the Talbot at 7.30 to meet everyone and looks like one or two are going so should be a mega night.

Betrayal
I am somewhat feeling slightly betrayed today….. I have a friend who aint by any means my best friend but, all in all, would be classed as a friend! Anyway, I have been getting bad vibes for a week or so now and these have today come out in force as I have been told some information about them that upsets me. Not what you would expect from any kind of friend or at least I wouldn’t.
On to nicer topics, I am feeling rather cheery today, probably due to the fact that I am moving house on Friday… YAY, uber excited about this. Think I’m fully organised, I have the carpet fitters booked for Friday afternoon which is the most important thing so we can defo move all our stuff in on Saturday when we have the van.
Last night me and Matt went to see Jamie and Kelly, and we had a lovely night. Had some killer Smith-Townsend cuppas and had a good old chat and laugh as usual! Makes me look forward to moving even more as they are so happy in their house and they have got it looking so lovely… think I’m gonna have to rope Jamie in for some of his ace DIY. You have to give this lad major credit… he is mechanic by trade but this boy basically renovated the whole of his house from scratch… fitted the kitchen, bathroom, the lot…. He is now building a pond in his garden… what a boy ay?!?!?!
Tonight I think me and Matt will have a drive to the big Wilkos in Clowne as I need 3 curtain poles and they have the exact ones I want and are rather reasonably priced. I ordered my bathroom and kitchen blind yesterday too from Dunelm and a blackout blind for our bedroom so I am getting there aren’t I? Although, I did remember this morning that I need a TV aerial so got my Dad on the case of that one!

Super Saturday Night
I had a fab night last night, me and Ally went round to Kristy’s for a girly night and what a night we had, It consisted of pizza, wine and loads of chatter.. perfect ingredients for a successful girly night I think!!! Next time it’s at my new house and soon okay hunnies??

Re chose my carpets yesterday and I’m well happy with the new one I am having, prefer it to my original choice actually. We got some light from Argos for the kitchen yesterday, we had a £20 voucher for there and also we used some of our nectar points so these lights didn’t cost us a penny.. EXCELLENT!!
Today I am fancying a trip to Ikea….. so once Matt is back from football (which they have won 6 – 0) I think we may have a lil trip!!!

I Hate Being a Girl!
Why oh why do we have to suffer the dreaded time of the month…. My tummy hurts so much today, I just wanna go home and curl up with Matts healing hands on my tummy… Don’t know why but when I have a tummy ache if he puts his hands on my tummy it makes all the pain go away!
Last night I got my hair cut kinda a la posh!!! Looks nice, well happy with the cut!
Couldn’t believe the wind yesterday, got back to my mums after the hairdressers and she had lost a roof tile, her gate and a fence panel too. On our way home there was a house in Shirebrook with the roof all gone and the fire brigaide there with their big truck and crane thing! the wind scares me. how sad that 12 people got killed too.
Last night me and Matt when to a pub in Worksop for some tea, it was called The Lock Keeper, well nice food, 2 for 1 aswell so a bargain too!!!
I’m gettin tres exciting about moving next week… hopefully this time next week I will be getting my carpets fitted… oh so very excited!
Tomorrow night is a girly night at Kristys… Can’t wait! I’m meeting Ally at the school in Kristys village to direct her.. don’t want u getting lost Ally!!!! Will be an ACE night, lots of chatter I imaging and I KNOW Ally will love Abigail cos she is such a girly girl and SO into pink!!!
Welcome back to Jay! So glad this boy is back… Missed him too much and he owes me a massive cuddle!!!!!!

ITunes Upset!
On Tuesday night whilst Matt was at football I decided to have a little tidy up of the PC at my mums, I use this PC for my Ipod so it had lots and lots of songs on it, foolishly I thought that seeing as though all my songs were on my D drive and ITunes that I may as well deleted the ones from my D Drive to clear up some memory on the computer. I went on to the PC last night to show Matt how to use the IPod with ITunes and there were all these exclamation marks at the side of loads of the songs on ITunes, they still play on my IPod but they will not play on the PC… This is because stupid stupid me deleted all the PC files didn’t I!!!!! I’m so dumb at times… I know have several hours of downloading to do to ensure I have a nice healthy IPod and ITunes again!!! I could of Cried!!!
Other than, last night I was supposed to be going to the Opticians but I had a really sore eye and seeing as though it was for my contact lense check I just couldn’t be doing with it so I cancelled it for a couple of weeks.
Got the final bills through last night for the apartment, a whopping £230 worth of bills to be precise!!! Again, I could of cried, the last thing I wanted a week and a bit before I move!!! The bills have been so expensive from the apartment, when I was Living with Lee our bills never cost what they did in the Apartment and we used loads more Gas, Electricity and Water…. Way more!!!! Clearly not so economical to live in an apartment!! And I certainly won’t be using Scottish Power… Extortionate!!! think I’ll use Powergen like what me and Lee had!
Having my haircut tonight and I think I may have it shorter at the back… I’m ready for it chopping as it’s grown loads this time!!!
Ooo Ooo… shock, shock, horror…. my bro cooked tea last night!!! This is a MEGA big deal as it is very out of character for him! Sausage Casserole… mmmmmmmmmmm!!!

Is it really possible tohave bloggers block? I’m really struggling today to think of anything interesting to put! My life is so dull at the moment you see and my mind is just being taken over by moving house! Oh the joy!!
I have itchy eyes today… why? It’s driving my insane… I’m supposed to be at Asda Opticians tonight to but I may have scratched my eyes out before then!
I went to the gym with Kristy last night, I has my induction so only got to work out for about 10 mins before we had to go but I still enjoyed it and I could tell from that how unfit I was…. 10 mins on the bike and god I felt it!!!!! Used to be a breeze for me! Wait till next time and I hit it properly, weights and everything, it’ll kill me!!!
I picked my carpets at the weekend and they rang back with the prices yesterday (gulp)… So I chose which I wanted outta of the couple I had priced up so I thought we were sorted, carpet shop rang me back yesterday to say that they cannot get the one I want in time for us moving… Sooooooo, she had a found a couple of other wool ones (I want wool as they wear better and will last longer) that she said looked almost the same but were more expensive but they would do it at the same price for us…. BONUS!!!! So I’m gonna tootle back down to the shop on Sat and pick the one I want… the good thing about these carpets are that she has them both in stock too!!
I feel I need to copy Ally and get a plant…. I’m gonna do it!!!!
