Back to Work Today!
Well it’s Friday and it’s my first day back at work after the Christmas Holidays, What is the point in 1 day!!! Gees, it’s a joke aint it! It is deathly quiet too! And freezing, we have NO heating on at all, good job I leave my cardigan at work ‘just in case’.
Well there is some good coming out of today in that my supervisor is letting us go at 2.30pm!!!! YAY!!! Worked out really well cos someone is coming to view the apartment later. They rang last night to arrange the viewing so I arranged for them to come at 4.15pm cos I usually finish at 4.00pm on a Friday, last night I was rushing rould tidying up and stuff for these peeps coming and now I’m finishing early I could of done it today, at least I can chill a lil when I get home now! The prob is that the spare room looks like a storage unit cos it has everything in ready to move… they’ll have to like it or lump it i’m afraid!!!! No where else to put it!
On to Hollyoaks… what can I say??? Loving it this week and thoroughly enjoying getting an hours fix every day!!!! Can’t wait for tonight episodes, I proper get sucked into this show, it is almost verging on real life for me, I was so emotional when Max and OB kissed and made up (so to speak)!!! Brought a tear to my eye!!! I really hope Claire gets whats coming to her!!!!
So far nothing planned for the weekend, think we might spend New Years Eve in, have a lil drink in the house! Not into going out and being barged everywhere! I’m cooking Christmas Dinner on sunday for me, Matt, Mum, Nanna, John & Kate (his girlf) so that’ll be nice cos they haven’t been to me yet for Christmas!
OOO, I have THE biggest spot on the end of my nose, it’s all red and glowing and really hurts!!! I look just like Rudolph!!!! LOL!!!
I feel a trip to the little girls room coming on!!!!

Boxing Day Delight!!!
Well Happy Boxing Day all!!!! Hope every one had a very merry Christmas and hope Santa was extremely good to you!!! He was to me!!! I was slightly disappointed to discover NO diamonds under the tree but I suppose all good things come those who wait!!!
Matt got me LOADS…….. A gorgeous Ted Baker make up case and smaller make up bag to go with it, Take That DVD, Jeans, K-Swiss Trainers, 2 gorgeous tops… he does have good taste, Lacoste touch of pink perfume, diary, chocolate, Lilly Allen CD, Sugababes Album, hmmmmm… I’m sure there was something else too!!!! Ooooo Chris Moyles Book!! He loved everything I got him too so our first Christmas together was a success!
Mum got me a gorgeous bag, a top, a scarf, a calendar, some house stuff and other bits and bobs!
Bro got me Take That goodies to go with the Take That calendar Jay got me!
My Nanna got us a joint present of a crockery set from Next which is what I REALLY REALLY wanted for our new house!!! BONUS!!! My auntie got me the most gorgeous light fitting from Next too for the living room.. We were so lucky!!!
Christmas Day was good and mum served a cracking Christmas dinner… She most certainly excelled herself this year!!!! Did the normal Christmas thing of loads of visiting so by the end of the day… I was knackered and slept like a baby!!!
Other big news of yesterday, me and Matt ordered out Fridge Freezer in the Curry’s Sale, got a Zanussi one that was supposed to be over £350 for £224 with free delivery!!! YEP, I’m happy with that!
Today we have been to Meadow hall cos we had a couple of exchanges to make!!!! What a mistake, it official proved my nickname for it.. ‘Murder Hell’!!! It was horrendous, you literally couldn’t moved and got barged wherever you went… we did what we had to do then nipped in to Mansfield which was lovely and civilised, got a dead nice jumper from river island, £20 instead of £30! I do love a bargain!
Anyway, Matt is back at work tomorrow so that is rubbish and I’m gonna miss him loads, always do when we have had a few days off together 
( Mum is doing Christmas dinner again cos my Nanna is coming up so she is gonna plate one up for Matt!!!

Christmas Eve Eve!!!!
Well today is Saturday so that means it’s Christmas Eve Eve… the eve before Christmas eve! Today I have been shopping, crazy I know, I could really do with a new coat but can’t find one that I particularly like!!! Town was pretty quiet considering the time of year!
We then went to Asda afterwards to get Amy Winehuse album, which on first listen is pretty cool… I love the Rehab song! I also got these fab sparkly shoes that were reduced to £4 from £12 in the sale!! Now that’s my kinda purchase!
My dad came to visit me this morning, which was the second time in 6 months… he brought me my Christmas card which was really nice and it had £20 in! He stayed for about an hour and 45 mins!!! We have also eaten in the Talbot today, we met up with Jay and had lunch which was really nice!!! Last time I’m gonna see him now before Christmas so we had a nice big hug!
Tonight I think one of Matts football mates is coming round for a couple of beers and possibly a DVD, not quite sure what to watch, we have got Happy Feet from Matt’s sister but don’t think his mate would b into that… but we shall see!!!!
Anyway, think that’s about it for today… oooo we have been looking round at fridge freezers to see if there were any that took our fancy and we spotted a couple so hopefully they might get reduced in the sale so we can save a few quid!!! Hopefully I’ll get to update tomorrow but If not…

Going Home Early
It’s all good…. ‘The Boss’ is letting me go home early… A whole 30 mins!!! Aren’t I a lucky gal, mean s I get to leave at 3.30… Better than a kick in the teeth I suppose!!! to be honest I may as well have gone about an hour ago cos the phone hasn’t rang and I have done NO work… Twas all cleared up this morning!!

It’s the Friday before Christmas and you know what that means…
Yes, that’s right, no more work after today, well at least until Friday 29th December, rubbish that I have to come back for 1 day!! 6 Days off though, that’s wicked!!! Well I’m all alone in the office at the mo, 2 Colleagues are off on leave, one is ill and Dawn doesn’t start till 9.30am so…. It’s very, very quiet. I’ve just put the Radio on to give this dismal office some back ground noise!
Last night me and Matt went into town cos I needed some wrapping paper and I think he wanted me to give him some inspiration so he could finish my Christmas shopping off… Not that I gave him any!! There is so much shit in the shops at the moment, getting all their tat out for the sales I think! Anyway, I started off in the best mood feeling all happy and was well chuffed to see Matt when he picked me up from work but then half way through town (which wasn’t actually as rammed as I thought it would be) I all of a sudden went into a real miserable mood and I do not know why. It was literally at the click of your fingers that my mood changed and for no particular reason… WHATS THAT ALL ABOUT??? I was in that mood till I went to bed too, I wasn’t in a nasty mood but I just felt really sad and miserable and went all quiet!!! Poor Matt, bet he wonders what he got himself into!!! To top it off, I re did my lovely manicured nails as I had chipped a couple and just as I was sulkily getting ready for bed… I bleeding smudged one so I then took all the nail varnish off… what a waste of time! So today I have crappy looking nails!
This morning I woke feeling happier but tired, I keep dreaming about our move on the 12th Jan and I keep dreaming that we have nothing packed or ready to go and I end up really stressed!! This aint gonna happen though, I WILL be organised!!!
It looked oh so lovely and wintery this morning, hope it’s like this Christmas morning, think expecting snow is too much but it needs to look at least wintery and frosty! Matt is off shopping this afternoon to finish off his present buying for me, he’s taking my mum cos he needs her help on some bits.. Bless!!! I’m hoping ‘The Boss’ will let me go early today, we normally finish at 4 but I think she should let me go early. If I do finish work early then I’m gonna catch the bus into town, yes you heard me right, me on a bus. So for that reason I have my scarf on today, Matt really wanted me to get some gloves last night but cos I was being moody, I insisted I didn’t them!!! Gees I wish I would of got them!!! If I do finish at 4 then Matt is gonna come get me!!!

Sausage & Egg McMuffin….. mmmmmmm
Good Morning! Well it will be very soon when my colleague returns from the The Golden Arches with my delightful breakfast that is gonna consist of:
- 1 x Sausage and Egg McMuffin
- 4x Hash Browns
Yes, I know…. Piggy!!! How funny that Tracey (my colleague) has tootled off with an order of 4x Sausage and Egg McMuffins & 17 Hash Browns… There are only 4 of us in my office too…. ha ha ha ha!!!! Anyway, this is gonna be the highlight of my working day!
Yesterday I had the headache to end all headaches, proper killer!!! Battled through it to catch a glimpse of The ‘Oaks (aka Hollyoaks)… Oooo it does make me angry, Justin needs a slap, I cannot believe Becca has been sent to prison for 2 years, as she was being sentenced, he was just doing the deed with a child of 15!!!!!!!!!!! Then he dared to shed a tear at hearing the verdict on the radio!!!!! What a contradiction!!!!! Makes my blood boil. It’ s only a programme I may hear u say, but gees, I’m addicted, I find it all so real!!!
After my daily dose of the ‘Oaks me and Matt went to The Young Vanish in Glapwell for our tea, I think disappointed would cover the visit, they have changed their menu and I had lasagne which wasn’t great, not a patch on how it used to be.
The entertaining part of my night was a telephone call from my ex fiance, this call came just as I was ordering our tea, I answered to ‘oo are you at home?’ which obviously I wasn’t, much to his disappointment! He had been to the BP petrol Station on Chesterfield Road, put a tenner in his car and then realised he had forgotten his cash card!!! He managed to scrape together £6 from the change in his car but wanted ME to go to the garage and pay the remainder… LOL, how very amusing!!!! I obviously didn’t go, the best bit is that from where he lives he was probably just as close to his house as he was to mine so could have just called home!!! You just wouldn’t would u? It’s not as though we the best of mates you see! Civilised but by no means best of friends!!
Only 1 more day after today that I have to come to work… YAY!!!! Not best pleased this morning though cos Matt isn’t at work now and I hate working if he is at home. He is going shopping for my present though, BONUS!!!

Hello world!
Well here goes…. this is my First blog! I do apologise in advance as I do tend to ramble!Kinda decided to do this blog as I enjoy reading Allys so much that I thought I would return the favour and give her something to read every morning!!! I really don’t think I’ll have much to say as I think I live a pretty boring life!
Today – BORING won’t quite cover the kind of day I have had today! Got to work this morning and walked into my sauna like office to absolutely jack poo to do, so, time to entertain myself, in order, my day has so far gone:
- Read Allys Blog
- Tidy desk
- Wrote some Santa cards
- Inspected my lovely manicured nails that I did last night
- Had lunch with mum
- Done a lil bit of created work
- CREATED MY BLOG!!
Roll on 4.30… I swear it is harder work doing nothing all day than being rushed off your feet, I started this job in August and transferred here from a proper busy office and I know I never used to feel this drained at the end of the day… Makes me so tired doing nothing!
Tonight, my yummy friend Jay is coming to visit as I’m not gonna get to see him now till after Christmas… We both have such hectic lives ya know… lol!
Not sure what to have for tea tonight, had waffles, fish fingers and Spaghetti last night which was ACE so I really ought to cook something a little bit more healthy tonight. Actually…. Matt has got paid today so maybe we should eat out!!
I’m getting rather stressed at the thoughts of still having about 2 hours worth of present wrapping to do in time for Christmas, I think I may designate tomorrow night for that. Matts last present finally came today! A maglite torch, how very exciting!! He has been a little bit spoilt this year as it is our first Christmas together so cannot wait to see his face Christmas morning! There we go my first blog… tah dah
